- Firstly, I’d like to welcome all my new followers. Since the Gathering the Architecture Community post came out, I’ve gain so many followers and I’d like to say am very thankful for you all. I can’t browse through all your blogs right now, but I will, just to show my appreciation.

I’m also glad that some of my tumblr pips also got many new supporters. This actually worked. “Architects supporting each other”.I figured out, in a couple of days, if that picture goes 1000+ notes, to gather all the reblogs (because I can’t know if the “likes” are actually architects, or just someone that liked the picture) and add a page on my blog where all of you will be gathered, so that there will be a list for the newbies, to get to know the architecture people and blogs.

- My second note on the agenda is the Facebook Page I’ve made. I though I could use a facebook page, so that other people, that are not on Tumblr, can see the posts, talk to each other, intecarct and also I would like to make some diversity and share some inspirational stuff form the pages I follow on Facebook.

So, people, LIKE THE ARCHIMESS PAGE and SHARE IT with your friends. Thank you and cheers

Since the simmer begun, as I can see, there is not much happening in the architecture community here on Tumblr. And we can’t blame anyone, since the most of my “clientele” are architecture students, I get it that many of you are just trying to make the most of this break as you can. That is why the flame run out and there is no interest in “talking architecture” and that is pretty much understood.I mean, who would like to sit on his computer, reminding himself on the last hell of semester and every single one of us had a very hard semester. So, what wanted to say is that, for the next 2 months, I don’t have any significant thrill to write any new posts, because many of you don’t have any work that needs to be done and so, you are not asking for that alibi, to sit on the internet and “read your last post” before you go off working.Because I am working, I’ll be present here, but my activities will be mainly, reblogging some of the old stuff, just as a reminder and reblogging some stuff that catch my eye, maybe some “whine” now and then and some “facts” and “enemys” (but I doubt this last one).
Have a wonderful summer my beloved tumblr friends
Cheers, yours truly

Thank you soooo much everybody!!!

I’ve been here on Tumblr just for 6-7 days and I’ve already got like 60+ followers. I don’t actually know how big of success is this for a Tumblr blog, but is an honor, for me, personally. From the first day I’ve made this blog, I’ve got a very warm welcome.Thank you all for this. Met some great people and hope to meet hundreds more.

For the last month, I had a little “crisis of faith”, if I can call it that, with the profession. But after meting you all, I saw that the “flame” never vanished. I just let others get in my head and I have to tell you - NEVER LET OTHERS GET IN YOUR HEAD!! Got some great ideas, reading and following your blogs. You’ve been a great inspiration for me.

Doing the thing you love is what should keep you go on and on and never stop you. Everything others tell you, (professors, critics, etc), take it with reserve. If you put your heart in your design, and of course, if you know your stuff well, it will be the best design of all. The only thing you have to do, is to find a way for a good promotion and that should be easy, because you know your design the best.

Yesterday I was on the first pre-review and I did great. Thanks to you all.

Thank you all, again and again and again.
You are changing the world, one post at a time. I’ll try not to disappoint you.

And never let your talent go to waste.

“Not another architecture student blog”?!

HELLO WORLD!!!

First of all, I like to thank loohoo and mkcookie for the warm welcome and everyone else that started following back.

Now, let me introduce myself…

As my twitter profile says I am a full time architecture student, (retired) graffiti artist, music explorer and a free soul slaved by technology and I am looking forward in changing the world.

My name is Toshe Andonov and I am from Skopje, MACEDONIA. I study architecture at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University - Faculty of Architecture - Skopje, under ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) that is not that well adjusted for the educational program in studying architecture.
I am in my third year of study’s, in the 6. semester, so this year I am getting my Bachelor of Architecture degree and going for another two years for M.Arch.
I like beautiful things, free-minded people, exploring new things, travelling … hate schedules and I’m always on my best under pressure.

I found this amazing community here on Tumblr via Twitter. I was reading many of your blogs, but it took me some time to settle upon to make a blog.
After I came here I saw that Tumblr is like a awesome party, kept low profile, so that it doesn’t get busted by the police.

As Robin Williams says on “live on Broadway” -

“This is not going to be your normal night of theatre, this is going to be Shakespeare with a strap on”.

NO, this is not yet another blog from a frustrated architecture student. This is going to be a blog where I will share my studio experience, my life as a student, trying to help others survive the years as architecture students, connect with other students and discus on other topics that I find interesting so share and I hope you all find me interesting and we’ll have a great time.
I will not restrain myself from anything, so there might be some explicit content, bad language, frustrated posts and all this depends on in witch state and mood I’ll be in. (So maybe there’ll be some frustrating posts ;))
As far as I could see, this is a great community. Every single architecture student or architect tends to share the passion for beautiful things, that we all have and share his experience with the world.

I am looking forward in connecting with like-minded people and everyone else that wants to gt to know the messed up life of architects and architecture students.
